TechReady Professionals (“TechReady Professionals,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting information that identifies or relates to you. This SMS Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your mobile number and related information when you enroll in and use our SMS messaging programs.


Types of Messages We Send

We use SMS to support our services and relationship with you. Typical message categories include:

  • Project or ticket updates, including status changes and follow ups
  • Appointment confirmations, reminders, and schedule changes
  • Technical support alerts and operational notices

We do not send marketing or promotional SMS without a separate, express opt in specific to marketing. If we ever offer marketing SMS in the future, we will present a distinct opt in with clear disclosures before sending any such messages.

One to One Consent Requirement

We send SMS only to individuals who have provided their mobile number and given clear consent to receive messages from TechReady Professionals. Consent is specific to our organization and is not transferable to or from any other business, affiliate, or client. We do not purchase, rent, or use third party contact lists for SMS. For numbers used by multiple people, the consenting individual must be the primary user or an authorized user of the number.

Opt In and Consent Methods

You provide consent to receive SMS from us when you:

  • Submit a form or ticket that includes your mobile number and an SMS disclosure with a checkbox or similar affirmative action
  • Complete a client intake form in our office, provide your mobile number, and check the consent box next to the SMS disclosure
  • Confirm your enrollment via a confirmation reply when we use a double opt in flow
  • Request SMS updates verbally or over the phone, followed by our documented confirmation

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may receive our services without consenting to SMS.

Message Frequency and Data Rates

Message frequency varies by program and your engagement. Typical frequency is:

  • Project or ticket updates: 1 to 8 messages per month while a ticket is active
  • Appointment reminders: up to 3 messages per appointment event
  • Support alerts or incident notifications: as needed, usually fewer than 2 messages per incident

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt Out and Help Instructions

You can stop receiving SMS from us at any time. To opt out, reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message. You may also contact us using the details in the Contact Us section and request removal. After you opt out, we will send a final message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. To re enroll, reply START to a prior thread or contact us to opt back in.

If you change or deactivate your mobile number, please notify us so we can update our records.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your mobile number or SMS related information. We share information only as necessary to operate our SMS programs, including with:

  • Messaging vendors and carriers that route and deliver messages
  • IT service providers that host or process data on our behalf
  • Professional advisers or authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security

These recipients are bound by contractual obligations to use the information only to provide services to us and to protect it appropriately. We do not permit third parties to use your number for their own marketing.

Security of Your Information

We use reasonable and appropriate safeguards to protect SMS related information, including transport layer security for data in transit, restricted access based on business need, authentication and logging controls, and staff training. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we believe the security of your information has been compromised, we will take steps consistent with applicable law and our internal response procedures.

Record Keeping and Proof of Consent

We maintain records to demonstrate compliance with SMS rules. These records may include the phone number, consent source and method, date and time stamp, consent language or form version, double opt in confirmations where used, and opt out or help requests. We generally retain SMS logs and consent records for 90 days after your last SMS interaction, unless a longer period is required by law or necessary to defend legal rights.

Data Retention

We keep SMS related information only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. For SMS programs, we retain message logs and proof of consent for 90 days. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de identify it in line with our retention schedules.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this SMS Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post updates at https://techreadypro.com/sms-privacy-policy and will indicate the effective date at the top of the page. Your continued use of SMS after an update becomes effective signifies your acceptance of the updated policy.
