TechReady Professionals SMS Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: October 1, 2025
These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in SMS text messaging programs operated by TechReady Professionals (“TechReady Professionals,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in, you agree to these terms.
Program Description
Our SMS programs deliver service related messages, including:
- Project or ticket updates and follow ups
- Appointment confirmations, reminders, and schedule changes
- Technical support alerts and operational notices
We do not send marketing or promotional SMS without a separate, express opt in specific to marketing. If we later offer marketing SMS, we will present a distinct opt in with clear disclosures.
Eligibility
You must be the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you register. Business contacts may enroll company owned numbers if they are authorized to do so.
Opt In and Consent
You provide consent to receive SMS from TechReady Professionals when you:
- Submit a form or ticket that includes your mobile number and an SMS disclosure with a checkbox or similar affirmative action
- Complete a client intake form in our office, provide your mobile number, and check the consent box next to the SMS disclosure
- Confirm your enrollment via a confirmation reply when we use a double opt in flow
- Request SMS updates verbally or over the phone, followed by our documented confirmation
Consent is not a condition of purchase. Consent is specific to TechReady Professionals, and does not extend to or from any other business or affiliate. For numbers used by multiple people, the consenting individual must be the primary user or an authorized user of the number.
Terms of Consent
Your consent covers the message categories described in the Program Description. Consent remains in effect until you revoke it using the Opt Out process below. If your number changes ownership, or you change carriers and your number is reassigned, you must notify us so we can stop messaging that number. We do not purchase or rent third party contact lists for SMS.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies by program and your engagement. Typical frequency is:
- Project or ticket updates: 1 to 8 messages per month while a ticket is active
- Appointment reminders: up to 3 messages per appointment event
- Support alerts or incident notifications: as needed, usually fewer than 2 messages per incident
Opt Out and Help
You can stop receiving SMS from us at any time. To opt out, reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message. After you opt out, you will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. To re enroll, reply START to a prior thread or contact us.
For help, reply HELP to any message or use the Contact Us details below. If you change or deactivate your mobile number, please notify us so we can update our records.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and network operators, which are outside our control.
Record Keeping and Compliance
We maintain limited records to demonstrate compliance with SMS rules. These records may include the phone number, consent source and method, date and time stamp, consent language or form version, double opt in confirmations where used, and opt out or help requests. For SMS programs, we retain message logs and proof of consent for 90 days after your last SMS interaction, unless a longer period is required by law or necessary to defend legal rights. Privacy
Our collection and use of information in connection with SMS is described in the SMS Privacy Policy available at https://techreadypro.com/sms-privacy-policy. The SMS Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions.
Availability and Use Restrictions
SMS should not be used for emergencies or time critical safety communications. Service may be unavailable or delayed due to device settings, power loss, network coverage, or carrier issues. You agree not to use SMS for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes, and not to interfere with or disrupt the service.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
SMS is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for delays, failures, or undelivered messages caused by carriers, aggregators, or networks. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the SMS programs will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will post updates at https://techreadypro.com/terms-of-use and will indicate the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued participation in our SMS programs after an update becomes effective signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of laws rules. You agree that any disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.
